For those hanging onto their last strands of faith in Lynas, may I just remind you that not only has Gina Reinhart become a substantial holder, but Australian Super has also. Now those two entities can be said to have some pretty savvy investigators of due diligence.
Green Cape, who also became a substantial holder over the last day or two, I'm not so sure about - they could just be trading entities, like State Street, more interested in short term trades, shorting etc. But I may be wrong - I just don't know anything about Green Cape.
But with Gina and Australian Super having such big holdings, it may be advisable to put doubts to one side and just follow the money. Those guys don't habitually bet on losers....!
