I disagree, what Amanda is saying is this Chinese system is foul play.
Of course this is accurate account, but irrelevant, that is why the entire western market is about to decouple. If it was fair, then the western governments would not introduce tariffs, mandates and subsidies. Amanda would know that the western market side will be ready to cash in on the western supply deficit. That’s the inevitable piece.
We all know that China manipulate the price. So it’s obvious the increase in demand has not translated to price. It’s what you do about the supply shortfall in the western market that’s important.
The eastern supply market and price is no longer relevant. ie it’s no sense in looking at the Chinese spot price, when you are about to completely decouple.
The market is, and will always be forward looking.
What Amanda is saying, is soon we will not refer to this manipulated market. Its cheating.
