Let me say in advance that I am clueless if this technology will ever be commercialized. At least once a month i read an article about taking REE out of perm magnets. If prices get high enough it will happen. I think this is part of the reason China is keeping prices low. It is why I keep my investment term short. JUST FYI the formular for a perm magnet today is Nd₂Fe₁₄B using Atomic weights theses are the weight of each element

Nd 2 X144 =288
Fe 14 x 56 = 784
B = 11
total =1073
Nd% 288 / 1073 x 100 = 27%
27% is important about Perm magnets it mazes me how many people see weight of magnet then go on to assume it is all Nd. I may forget the number but if I know how to calculate it, I will never not have it Same is true for all financial information.
