Thanks for your kind words about my success, but in all honesty I know nothing about TA and just read what others say on that front. My educational background is in economics and much later I studied accounting and financial analysis, ie I rely on FA rather than TA. I really wish I could learn TA but these days my mind is not up to learning such new tricks.

It did seem like some sort of capitulation at the end of last year, but I have no insight into the mineral sands industry and have not applied any rigorous analysis before buying. MDL is a relatively small spec investment for me ($11k) and on a risk reward basis I thought it was worth a shot.

I will just sit back for the next few years and hope that management gets things right. From what I recall of the MDL management pre-GFC they seemed a pretty hones mob. I think they sold out of TGZ far too cheaply - could have sold earlier at $2, or waited a bit and sold closer to $1, plus I am not sure about the value of Joseph Patrizia (spelling) they hired given how he performed at BSR (where I rode BSR down from 28 cents to 18 cents in a short period and decided after talking to the nongs at their head office to make an escape on that day - lucky me because the share price is around 1 cent.

Good luck. If you like MDL you can average down - but there are no guarantees it will work out for any of us minerals sector tragics - so much pain in the sector and its still continuing.
