property downturn is not short term as everyone thinks. this time its really different. higher interest rates, fixed only loans becoming variable, lenders no longer going below 20% deposit are some key factors that will bring this house of cards down. volume may increase during intense selling but eventually will dry up. so u r looking at buying into mea then better be in it for the next 5 years and feel lucky if u r getting good divis.
