You would expect the actual operating systems and comms protocols to be written in C/C++. This here looks like a role that will focus on webrowser based testing and high level programming languages. Could this be an apps developer/tester? Cisco router functionality is often integrated to with Java and Python so perhaps this is in that space or further PSTN work?
But how about that pay? AU$1800 - AU$3600 a month ($21k - $42k a year!) for technical network programming. Gotta love the collapse of the Eastern Block.
