    Competition? Not on the equator. Unless the 'competition' are offering narrow band frequencies that are suited to the high rainfall equatorial regions.As far as i can see the likes of starlink and oneweb are not offering this.

    research s-band, look at SAS's target market and you will realise why SAS has chosen S-band.
