1/2 We’ve secured our largest fundraising round to date, raising $1.25bn in new capital. Bringing total funds raised to $3.4bn. This round was led by @SoftBank, @gruposalinas, @QualcommVenture and @RwandaGov
They obtained funding through various avenues! A large portion of their funding came from Bank and Government...not from holders alone!
This is the funding strategy SAS is trying to achieve...get certainty around, mainly; future rocket&launcher success, insurance, operational functionality milestones of Pearls, etc and the funding will come from all angles as the probability of commercial viability improves for all parties
SAS services are nothing new, the game changer is the the low capex and opex required to provide the services and therefore be able to charge lower fees and still be commercially viable to SAS
SAS may potentially have other plans up their sleeves
A TO could come left field
All this takes time and money unfortunately but I don’t think shareholders can be expected to cop it again with CR
SAS has one shot at this!
