The only thing that comes to mind about this announcement and most logical is.
Virgin orbit may have told SAS when they first signed for 4 dedicated launches that the rocket would of already been tested by now and all systems would be a go.
And now that the deadline has passed SAS will go with there back up launch provider.
Or even better as Meir mentioned befor they were in talks with another launch provider but won’t and can’t say any more.
I hope if that’s the case I hope it’s rocket lab.
Cheeper and ready to go.
