you can request the share register as a shareholder, you are entitled to it.
alternatively, you will be able to see on the appendix 3b how many shares they've issued and reconcile it yourself
given SH approval for MMs shares was received just now, and there's no appendix 3b yet, maybe he never got those shares meaning SAS never got that money...
ordinarily what happens is a director would pay money to the company but needs shareholder approval for the shares to be issued. If the shares haven't been issued that means the director either didn't pay the money originally, or the company has refunded the money.
