Over many years most analysts recommendations on Magellan have been either Neutral or to the downside. Thankfully I do my own research and invest for the long term and continue to add more shares in this exceptional business when its on sale.
I do wonder if the Funds Industry being a competitor to Brokers has any impact on the ratings provided for MFG and its peers?
