News: migme Limited attracts ASX speeding ticket

  1. Social entertainment platform migme Limited (ASX:MIG) has received a speeding ticket from the ASX for a share price gain from a closing price of $0.56 on 18th December 2014 to an intra-day high of $0.81 on 29th December.

    The company said it was unaware of any information concerning it that has not been announced.

    It noted that it was recently the subject of a research reported dated 18th December and an article in the Australian Financial Review on 20th December.

    Earlier this month, the company launched an Application Programming Interface that allows developers to extend apps to the migme platform.

    It also engaged Night Spade Mobile Game Studio and Tweensoft to deliver games in the first quarter of 2015 and invested $400,000 into regional games platform MatchMe.

    Beta testing has started on six MatchMe games, with more to launch in early 2015.

    The company has enjoyed gains in handset distribution, local media partnerships and payment channels. It now has more than 9 million active users.
