Our country was subtly threatened not to limit our multiculturalism predominantly to the Caucasian and Christian group by the SE Asian countries.
Our previous policy of being good neighbors using our aid policy wasn’t achieving the desired results, in opening up the SE Asian markets for our businesses.
One ASEAN representatives said: "unless Australia becomes Asianised we will fail in making progress in finding a market in this area.
So our immigration policy is based on a threat to placate our neighbors and our businesses community.
If we have future racial tension, blame the business community for their desire for a market and cheap labour!
