Looking on the bright side, it should be uphill from here.
1 - It's looking more and more likely that this UCL takeover is history now. Which means, soon there'll be no more concerns about increasing the offer and/or throwing cash into the deal.
2 - If UCL manages to secure another cornerstone investor, and based on their current relationship status with AD, it's more and more likely that they'll push to take the lot of Sandpiper and throw AD out of the equation in the process.
3 - If NMDC takes 100% of Wonarah, even if the price is low, at least they'll retire AD for good.
My point is, whichever way I look at it, it seems as if AD's incredible history of F*ck ups must close to an end, and that in itself will be a massive step towards clearing the path ahead for MAK.
