    Minera Gold (ASX:MIZ) has entered a trading halt regarding the option exercise and acquisition of the San Santiago Processing Plant and surrounding mining rights and concessions.

    The halt in its shares is expected to last until commencement of open trade on Wednesday 17 September 2014.

    Recently Minera reported that subject to the vendor satisfying the final conditions precedent, settlement of the Peru acquisition is now confirmed for on or about 12 September 2014.
