Yeah, honestly I'm a little sceptical on this one. Trading Halts tend to happen when something unexpected happens, and in this case the expectation was that the acquisition would proceed as planned (albeit with the delay).

I have no idea what the announcement is but I wouldn't be too shocked if the acquisition had fallen through, that's certainly possible. It'll be very interesting if that does happen, because even without that acquisition this company was still looking very undervalued, and there could be a sell off from people who haven't done their proper research. A possible entry point.

I guess we'll find out soon enough, but I wouldn't get too carried away thinking this must be a positive announcement, then getting surprised by a negative announcement and panic selling. Factor in all possibilities so you're ready for anything when the trading halt gets lifted so you don't get caught out making the wrong decision.
