News: Minerals Corporation substantial shareholders increase stakes

  1. Minerals Corporation (ASX:MSC) substantial shareholders Jane Whiddon and N&J Mitchell Holdings Pty Ltd have increased their interests through on market purchases.

    Whiddon increased her stake in the company to 11.5% from 9.15% after acquiring 346,379 shares for $0.05 each on 26 August 2014. She now has a total shareholding of 1,695,714 shares.

    N&J Mitchell Holdings increased its stake to 8.58% from 7.99% after acquiring 253,540 shares in a number of transactions from 18 August to 21 August.

    It acquired 100,000 shares for $6,114.99 on 18 August, 68,546 shares for $4,646.49 and 60,696 shares for $4,253.71 on 20 August, as well as 24,298 shares for $1,937.34 on 21 August.

    This brings its total shareholding up to 1,265,640 shares.

    Minerals Corporation is planning a drill program to follow up on the priority target areas determined by the 2012 drilling at its Skardon Kaolin Project in Cape York Peninsula, Queensland.

    Skardon comprises a granted exploration permit (EPM4068, 20% MSC), an exploration permit application (EPM18,242, 5% MSC) as well as two mineral development licence applications (MDL423 & MDL425, 5% MSC).
