There are plenty of large Ni/Co laterite deposits across Australia and plenty more across the Philippines, Indo, New Caledonia, PNG and Cuba (to name a few).. these things ain’t rare and we also have Ravensthorpe to be restarted in WA in the near future.

Wingellina is about the Glen McGrath of the batting order of those projects.. size is ok, grade average but it’s in the middle of nowhere where power and infrastructure is lacking and transportation is costly and the amount of acid required large. It’s worth closer to zero than $100m in my opinion.

The value here is the tin and the wildcard is nifty. I’d be in if it weren’t for the nifty issues as I think it will consume the funds / balance sheet.. we shall see. The tin asset is quality and will only get better as they enter Area 5...
