Very interesting post DfG. I don't think they think W will cost anywhere near that, one recent est using new tech of as "little" as US$7-800 mill if I recall correctly-which I can only vaguely. Samsung has the technology, they say. Ring any bells?
Im not up-ramping just now, but a bunch of those grades in the latest quarters drilling in new areas look a lot like Aditya Berla was getting for quite a while before they sold out. More like 2.5% copper than 1.5%.
Copper price has just broken of of the downtrend for the last few months too, over US $5800 yesterday on LME. MLX seems very influenced by the copper price ATM, for obvious reasons.
