tbf you claiming you know for a fact there are going to be 2 announcements in 2 weeks is more insider trading than suggesting APAC know there will be a CR. It is quite common for a company to bring the major SH's behind the curtain before a CR to help gauge whether they have pricing etc correct and to feel out the intentions of the major holders. However I believe they are not allowed to trade in shares once they are privy to this of course.
With all the recent register changes there is obviously something brewing behind the scenes but it's hard to work out what exactly. Given the multiple large sub holders you'd think the preferred method of raising would be a rights issue.
I'm also not sure it was L1 that sold. I looked at the register the other day and both L1 and JP Morgan (Argyle are holding via them) were on the T20. Confusing.
last week there was solid buy demand but this week it has definitely dropped off and the offers have thickened up.
in Argyles sub holder notice you can see that their last transaction was a sale (their only sale) and it makes me wonder whether they smacked the SP that day to keep a lid on it. It just seems strange you buy 14% odd of the company through months of buys and then a huge block and then all of a sudden sell some?
Anyway I'm sure we'll find out soon enough.
