    June 25 (Reuters) - Australian copper miner Sandfire Resources (SFR) said on Tuesday that it sweetened its bid for smaller peer MOD Resources (MOD) , valuing the junior miner at A$167 million ($116.25 million).

    Sandfire is offering A$0.45 per MOD share, a 45% premium to MOD's last closing price. ($1 = 1.4366 Australian dollars)
