MOD Resources (ASX:MOD) is focussed on the Mahumo Copper/Silver Project in Botswana with drilling expected to start at the end of this month.
In August the company raised $2 million to advance the project.
Mahumo has a Resource of 9.5 million tonnes at 1.14% copper equivalent.
The company also said earlier in the month that preliminary metallurgical test work on nine shallow drill hole intersections at Mahumo was continuing.
Initial rougher flotation test work has yielded encouraging results with around 90% copper and 90% silver recovery, consistent with the observed mineralogy (chalcocite is the dominant mineral).
Today the ASX has granted the company a trading halt pending results of metallurgical test work.
The halt will remain in place until the opening of trade on Tuesday 30th September 2014, or earlier if an announcement is made to the market.
