Monadelphous Group Limited (ASX:MND) is set to initiate legal proceedings to recover money from the owners of the Wiggins Island Coal Export Terminal in Queensland.The engineering company says it will be seeking appropriate damages after not having been paid property for its work on the Gladstone coal terminal.Monadelphous claims the project owners withdrew $19.46 million under bank guarantees issued by the company and claims this was unwarranted and unusual.Despite the legal action Monadelphous does not anticipate a material impact on its overall earnings.Monadelphous Group reported a net profit of almost $147 million in the 2014 financial year.
