News: Moreton Resources lodging $4.7M historical research and development tax claim

Moreton Resources (ASX:MRV) has completed its review of historical claims under the Australian Government’s Research and Development Tax Incentive Scheme and is seeking a $4,695,000 tax refund.

This is being sought under the 2013 financial year and will await determination by the Australian Taxation Office.

Further advice will be forthcoming in regard to the 2014 claim, once finalisation of the lodgement process has been completed in the coming weeks.

Earlier this month, the company identified low volatile PCI coal at its Mackenzie Coal Project in the Bowen basin, Queensland.
