market sentiment has a lot to do with prices and the brierley/gpg past performance may be a factor. although i believe there is a big difference here, and a much better management team and approach. also, there is a predominance of aussie shareholders here together with a much wider scope of opportunity. whereas sir ron's previous following was mainly nz holders.
also there has been the mmx holding to sort out.
as for tax losses, we will have to wait to see any possible benefits accruing.
i have been a buyer since india equities days and will continue where there are price opportunities.
