It's a similar story with many small cap companies - the senior staff get remunerated too highly, which is a drain on the reservoir needed to keep things going.
While the company is running a loss, they should cut back wages for senior staff and make the performance targets for bonus a lot harder.
If they run out of cash, they'll end up diluting and raising - forcing shareholders to pay for their upkeep.
