No surprises here. Anyone who has been following would know this was 95% a certainty. Should have been baked into the price already.
good news is that the bad news is officially out.
would have expected a contract extension without the fire but will just have to secure more contracts going forward to replace earnings.
Anglo looking to sell all coal operations anyway and long term the mine has a decent chance of returning to production which should result in a new contract but at least 6 months away. Lots of coal miners out of work should reduce costs at least.
No surprises here. Anyone who has been following would know this...
