Oct 3 (Reuters) - Shares of Australia's Myer Holdings Ltd (MYR) jumped 8.8 percent after its largest shareholder Premier Investments Ltd (PMV) , chaired by billionaire Solomon Lew, asked Myer for a list of its owners, fuelling speculation of a takeover offer.
I don't believe this has anything to do with a TO as the same information was requested last year in the lead up to the AGM... IMO it is just a precursor to the AGM like last year so that Sol Lew can begin to gain traction/support on/for his intentions to remove the BoD and Chairman ??
