July 7 (Reuters) - Australia's Myer Holdings (MYR) said on Wednesday it was open to discussing board representation with Premier Investments (PMV) , after its top shareholder raised stake in the retailer to push for an overhaul in management.
"The Board is open to discussing appropriate Board representation of Premier Investments through nomination to the Myer Board," the company's acting chairman JoAnne Stephenson said in statement, adding that Myer has already reached out to Premier, which is owned by billionaire Solomon Lew.
