Any idea if they have any property assets left.
or are they just a leasing retailer holding cash.

if they are just holding cash, why would they try hard to continue street retailing.

much of the old school retail has been decimated, and Myer have struggled to capture an angle.

successful retailers have to be made up of specialties, look at UNIQLO.

always packed, good products, good prices, great service, good positions.

i don't know what I would even go to Myer for these days, general department stores just aren't focussed enough on anything in particular. Myer is obviously a lifestyle company for many execs, a shareholders nightmare, full of people hoping/praying that this can't be the scam that it's turning out to be.

floated to mug punters on glamorous sentiment at a MC of $2.6 billions, with no strategy to succeed in a new environment . KKR from memory. Smart ass white collar thieves.

its like 90 percent of the specs, but on a bigger scale.
the rot needs to stop. The fund managers should put half their billion $$ profits in trust for 10 years, and if it flunks that money bails out long suffering shareholders.
