This is very positive in my view. They are taking the necessary measures to cut their cost base in this difficult time while keeping their online business running. Qantas share price recovered from a low of $2.03 and its trading now at $3.11 when they took decision to ground down the majority of their fleet and stand down 80% of their staff. Also, i feel that they will manage to reduce their rent with landlords as all retail bussinesses are suffering and in my opion landlords will have no choice other than to set with all their business tenants to come to agree on the best possible outcome for both parties in this unprecedented event. The Corona virus will be over at some point of time. Yes, buying Myer shares is a bit risky ( most of shares are risky at the moment) but the reward will be huge. DYOR and good luck !
