I think they have been waiting for stage 3 restrictions before announcing closure and stand down of employees. Stage 3 is coming on Sunday night and i think they have been advised of this by the gov being such a large national department store. All they need to do now is secure a decent debt facility from a bank (which would be gov backed), increase their online sales from 10% to 20-25% over the next few months and hope the virus doesn't drag on for to long. They may emerge as a stronger retailer whilst others fall. Will be watching this closely over the next 1-2 weeks but could be a great high risk buy at the moment.
