Amazon has not said when it will start its shopfront service and warehouse service in Australia.
So far, it has said only that it is bringing Amazon Marketplace, in which it sells advertising space on its website and logistics support, to Australia.
The company has not mentioned plans to bring its fast-growing subscriber service, Amazon Prime, which typically brings a two-day delivery guarantee, to Australia.
I think we are safe for a good 18 months yet, and (IMO) I think something major will have happened by that time with Myer .... Sol will be on the BoD by then ... hehe
............and of course let's not forget the Canadian review / UBS article ..... Is it really going to affect Australia as much as we first thought ? ... me no think so (IMO) ... although I did go into Myer yesterday and struggled to get 'served' .... a little disappointing, but hey I still like the 'in store' shopping experience even if I do have to serve myself at the cashier ...haha
