I have margin loans for years and have never had an end of day margin call. I always manage the position through out the day and ensuring that any intra day margin call is in buffer before the close of trade for the day.
What makes it worse though is that you use funds to top up the loan instead of buying some cheap stocks.... That's where I always lose out....
