National Australia Bank Limited (ASX:NAB) is moving into Vietnam through opening a new representative office in the Southeast Asian nation.The bank says the development is an important milestone and part of the company’s ongoing investment and commitment to expanding in the region.NAB believes the Hanoi representative office is a great first step to support its customers with commerce, trade and investment links to Vietnam.The bank advises flows of trade, people and capital between Asia, Australia and New Zealand have grown at around 15 per cent per annum and are showing no signs of abating.National Australia Bank reported a net profit of $2.86 billion in six months to the end of March 2014.
