    This price is just extraordinary.

    They are paying the amount in the mortgage book for the bank. They may have 85,000 clients but they only gave deposits of $4,000 each on average. Using $333,000 as the average mortgage, they only have about 800 mortgage clients.

    For this NAB are forking out over $200m.

    More money than sense.
