The National Australia Bank Limited (ASX:NAB) continues to win market share from its competitors reports Fairfax Media.
It’s led some analysts to question how the bank will manage the impact of discounting on earnings.
The Australian Prudential Regulatory Authority reports NAB increased total lending market share in the year to October by 1 per cent, while rivals all posted slight falls.
In the 2011 financial year the NAB posted an annual net profit of $5.2 billion.
