Navitas Ltd (ASX:NVT) has struck a ten-year deal with a college in the United States.
The arrangement with the University of New Hampshire is the fifth for the education services provider with a US college, as Navitas moves towards expanding its footprint in the country.
Under the agreement Navitas will manage an international student university transfer program which will begin in May next year.
CEO Rod Jones says the partnership will strengthen the company's position in the US tertiary education sector and is expecting that the new program will further increase the company's global reach and diversification.
However, news of the deal on Tuesday wasn't enough to boost Navitas, with shares falling further yesterday from the highs posted at the beginning of the year.
Navitas increased its profit in the year to 30 June 2010, earning $62.8 million.
