Nov 9 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1030 GMT on Tuesday:
** South Africa's Northam Platinum NPHJ.J said it had agreed to acquire almost a third of platinum group metals producer Royal Bafokeng, in a surprise move thwarting rival Impala Platinum's takeover plan that hammered Northam's shares.
** China Evergrande Group's 3333.HK electric vehicles unit Evergrande NEV 0708.HK is seeking Chinese regulatory approval to sell its inaugural Hengchi 5 sport-utility vehicles, as the embattled company vows to start making cars early next year.
** Eneos Holdings' 5020.T bid to take its subsidiary, roadbuilder and property developer Nippo Corp 1881.T , private with Goldman Sachs GS.N is meeting opposition from activist fund manager Oasis Management, which says the offer price is too low.
** Plans by Norway's Telenor to withdraw from Myanmar by selling its telecom operations there to a Lebanese firm have stalled after the junta indicated it favoured at least part-ownership by a local company, according to people familiar with the matter.
** Australia's biggest gold producer, Newcrest Mining Ltd (NCM) , said it would buy the rest of Pretium Resources Inc PVG.TO in a deal that values the Canadian miner at $2.8 billion.
