As a long term holder of NCM for over 22 years through the peaks and troughs I will say that at an average gain pa of about 13% to the current SP I can't really complain ... of course that has improved a lot from the March 2019 lows
But over the last few years it has lagged the likes of NST, RRL, SBM that I also now hold as well but would have been much better off with everything in those and perhaps EVN, SAR, SLR
I guess once you get big and unwieldy its much harder to outperform the market/index
I'm generally a long term holder rather than trader though so I'm holding on
