• Geotechnical event at kencana (NCM)
• Says at this point in time the cause of the geotechnical event is unknown
• On 8 February 2016 a geotechnical event occurred at the kencana underground mine at the gosowong gold mine on halmahera island in Indonesia
• Says event caused damage to a number of mining levels
• Says all gosowong mining and processing operations have been suspended
• Mine was evacuated immediately after event and all personnel have been accounted for, except for one employee
• Says have notified the family of the trapped employee and relevant indonesian authorities
• Says no other injuries have been reported
• At this time, our priority is to contact and rescue trapped employee and provide all support necessary to employee's family and gosowong workforce
