If it is this New Caledonia mine, NCZ buidling two main thematics - one being a battery/ev play, the second also taking another existing operation with large amount of capex spent on it and trying to get a handle on it through reducing operating costs.

Sound pretty cash intensive and difficult, but provides upside if they can do it. Timing seems a little questionable but you would have to assume this was part of the deal with IGO.
