Managing Director, Simon Crowther introduces visual analytics company, nearmap Limited (ASX:NEA). Responding to questions, he gives an overview of the Company’s unique, expansive offering and rapid growth in the market.



nearmap has developed their own high performance, low cost aerial camera system that can capture very large areas, including city centres. The Company uses a unique fusion of hardware/software technology which allows content to be online extremely quickly, bringing informed instant information as required.



nearmap consider themselves to be a publisher as opposed to an aerial surveyor, therefore, are focussed on generating annual subscriptions to access content. Since 2012 subscriber numbers have grown from hundreds to many thousands and numbers are expected to substantially increase further.
