Hi Nice one, I didn't realise Hot Copper had post monitors. I thought this was an open forum for people interested in learning about the stock market in general so apologies if my questions irked you. I disagree with your generalisation about negative posts, more frustration with the vague information around user numbers, performance of the new products and the effect on revenues and profit of moving toward the lower cost packages. Is there any data on current customer retention rates considering the data caps mentioned in previous posts amongst other things.
You have to admit it would seem that every time the stock takes a knock SC issues another statement about the future...it just makes me cautious - what about the present.
I've been told by friends that this is an interesting company and one I should monitor, but as I have had my fingers burnt in the past I am nervous of committing only to find out in 3/6 months that the hype failed to deliver and my investment has gone south.
I'm not that experienced in stock market (happy for tips on other stocks if you have them) so thanks for the explanation for the currently higher trading price, I can see if overseas expansion does come off then there would be great upside but even the grandest castles will fall if build on sand.
