New Hope Corporation Limited (ASX:NHC) has boosted its annual coal production figures to 12.4 million tonnes and reported consistent output performance for the fourth quarter.
The annual tonnage result was 12 per cent higher than last years figure.
3,132 tonnes of raw coal was produced in the three months to July’s end, almost mirroring the 3,122 tonne mark achieved in the corresponding period last year.
New Hope also reported high exploration activities for the quarter, drilling 75 holes at its New Acland open cut mine in Queensland.
New Hope declared a $101 million half year net profit in January.
