WELLINGTON, April 5 (Reuters) - Job advertisements in New Zealand rose 1.6 percent in March from the previous month, led by increased demand for workers in the construction and manufacturing sectors, a survey by ANZ Bank showed on Wednesday.
Job ads rose 17.7 percent on an annual basis, the survey showed.
"The current strength of labour demand flags unemployment heading under 5 percent later this year, with accompanying modestly stronger wage growth," ANZ senior economist Sharon Zollner said.
