WELLINGTON, Feb 1 (Reuters) - New Zealand posted a seasonally adjusted net gain of 5,510 permanent and long-term migrants in December, resulting in a net gain of 64,930 for the past year, data from Statistics New Zealand showed on Monday.
The number of short-term visitors to New Zealand rose 10.5 percent compared with a year ago, taking the total number of visitors for the year to 3.13 million.
