Let me get this straight.

Company isn't benefitting from production starting 8 months earlier than scheduled, Because accounting wise the costs will show up in an earlier quarter where as the profit in a later.

So you're telling me that out weighs 8 months of added production. You do realise they make thousands of PROFIT on each additional tonne right?

I try to understand peoples perspectives but jeez. You seem to be really focusing on the glass being half empty. Why not talk about how the 3rd quarter will have a shiizee load of extra nickel to sell and that's only the beginning.

This is obviously a exciting story playing out in the next few years. Not the next few weeks. Try and see past the next quarter which should be exceptional anyway.
