Northwest Resources (ASX:NWR) could be about to announce a material transaction regarding its Camel Creek Gold Project in Western Australia.

Northwest was developing the Camel Creek Gold Project through a joint venture with Millennium Minerals Limited (ASX:MOY).

Its shares have been placed in a trading halt to pursue the potential transaction where they will stay until commencement of trading on Wednesday, 23 July 2014.

Northwest also owns the Blue Spec Shear Gold-Antimony Project which has a high-grade mineral resource base of 415,000 tonnes at 15.8g/t gold for 219,000 ounces of gold and 1.3% antimony for 5,200 tonnes of contained antimony which includes an indicated resources of 151,000 tonnes at 21.7g/t Au for 106,000 ounces of gold.
