Good chart there Vf. This might explain why NST is struggling to get to $12 a share, even though we are now only $92 from the all time Australian gold price of $AUD2844. Gold share prices have some serious catching up to do!
The rising gold price must have utter panic going on in the back rooms, staffed by the futures/derivatives/shorting boffins. This is tectonic plates moving stuff!
My guestimate will be that the gold price will be $US3000 by the end of 2023. There is enough geopolitics going on to suggest that this is a natural trend line. I have no idea where that would put the NST share price, but it would be 'healthy'!
